Helped that it was a beautiful sunny day but it was a lovely setting, right next door to Corfe Castle. We did move once as the family table we sat at was a bit rickety, but the staff were quick to help pull two bench tables together for our group of 8. We sat under a vine covered pergola, in a pleasant, stone, outdoor eating area. There was an outdoor bar & friendly & polite serving staff. The waitress had very good menu knowledge and was very efficient in taking our orders, reading everything back without error, having had to make numerous decision changes! The food came in a reasonable time given it was quite busy and we were a large group, and all the food arrived together. Everyone was very happy with their meal and enjoyed drinks from the large selection on offer. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, especially before or after a visit to Corfe Castle a very short walk away.

Sat in the garden out the back with partial view of the castle. There was a live music. It was a great vibe and a great way to spend an afternoon - lunch and live music. Gluten and Dairy Free. The food was lovely, the only mark down is because the service is a little slow - not so much in getting the food or in placing the order once they have seated you but AFTER the food, you get a little forgotten and need to flag down for drinks or the bill to pay. I have been twice and both was the same. First visit was this amazing GF Chicken Avo sandwich and chips (photo). The second time was a Sunday Roast Dinner - no photo (GF DF) - delicious. Gluten and Dairy Free.

A proper gem in the village of Corfe. Deceptively small and quaint from the roadside with low ceilings as you walk into the main Inn, but beyond is a beautiful open air beer garden with the backdrop of Corfe Castle. Staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is reasonably priced, great quality and decent portions. I had the pulled pork tacos which were full of flavour. The family tried pizza and burgers, all looked amazing. As a holiday maker, it's just the one visit, but if I lived locally, it would be a regular option. Will certainly remember it for the future and would love to come back. Plenty of local specialties and craft beers.

Best Sunday dinner I've had in a pub.. lovely place, customer service was great. But food was great I had duo of meat pork n lamb and they were gorgeous.. Do yourself a favour and give them a go

Staff were welcoming.I had booked a table online and also because it was dog friendly, glad I did as it was very busy that evening. My Husband and I both had fish and chips, tasty and cooked to perfection. The friendly waiting staff were attentive throughout our meal and service was quick!
